Duplessis Financial opens new offices in downtown Sarnia.  We believe in Sarnia, and we prove it by investing in down town property. Offices located 176 North Christina Street - a couple of doors north of the Imperial Theatre- its the red brick building in the background of the photograph.

Come on in and have a coffee with us!!

 Duplessis Financial offices

Our brokerage aquired the historical building in Christina Street and is in process to revamp it, preserving its historical Brokerage aquires property in historical downtown Sarniasignificance.

The building, located 174 to 178 Christina Street originally was the old Imperial Theatre. Our offices are situated in the the original lobby of the old theatre and the upstairs apartments are along the original theatre Gallery.

The (now only) 12,000 sq feet building was almost totally destroyed in the late 50s by a tornado. It was later rebuilt to an extent but was never again used as a theatre. The building still sports a beautifull old crest on the facade.

We are involved in initiatives and projects aimed at revitalizing downtown. Dupfin is also the primary sponsor of SarniaVoice.Com, a new community effort that allows Sarnia people to connect and voice their opinions on developing the community.

Our new offices in Christina street are still a work in progress. We completed work on replacing older plumbing and interior work on the upstairs apartments and offices.  Summer of 2007 will keep us busy on exterior work.  It is gratifying (well, not always!) to be able to save an old structure in the heart of the city.  Christina street is picking herself up - at least two new restuarants will open before winter, Lawrence House is busier than ever, Grace Brothers' new art gallery is a hit, and this year's Art Walk was very very succesful. Its exciting to be part of the revitalization process.
